Financial Supervisory Commission(FSC) has unveiled the Incentive Policy for Offshore Fund Development in Taiwan in 2013 and the Incentive Policy for Onshore Fund in 2015, respectively. Offshore fund institutions and securities investment trust enterprises which are interested in the policies may apply to the FSC before June of each year. The applicants meeting the standards may be eligible for the preferential measures upon approval by the FSC. There are 10 offshore fund institutions applying for the Incentive Policy for Offshore Fund Development in Taiwan and 5 securities investment trust enterprises applying for the Incentive Policy for Onshore Fund in 2019.

FSC will proceed to review the applications in 2019. The applicants meeting the standards will be announced by the end of September and entitled to related preferential treatment.
