New systems and products beginning from March 27, 2006: (1) Foreign investors are allowed to trade by US dollars in the futures market; (2) Offshore FCMs may open omnibus accounts with local FCMs; and (3) US dollar denominated gold futures, MSCI Taiwan Stock Index futures and options start to trade.(4)
To coordinate with government administrative agencies, securities markets declare 2 January 2009 an official one-day holiday, with a make-up day on 10 January 2009
What's New
Beginning from June 17 2009, the FSC headquarters and the four FSC bureaus will be testing out a major website overhaul. The test will continue for at least one month. During this period, the public is encouraged to provide feedback on the new websites.
