As of the end of March, 700 companies were listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, same as the previous month. The total capital issued was NT$5,071.43 billion, an increase of NT$7.55 billion over the preceding month, and the market capitalization was NT$13,806.61 billion, an decrease of NT$446.16 billion over the preceding month.

As of the end of March, 476 companies were listed on the GreTai Securities Market, an increase of five against the previous month. The total capital issued was NT$631.55billion, a increase of NT$2.66 billion against the preceding month, and the market capitalization was NT$1,220.42 billion, a increase of NT$25.3 billion against the previous month.

In March, the trading value of shares on the Taiwan Stock Exchange was NT$1,677.54 billion, a decrease of NT$558.42 billion over February, while the trading volume was 62.98 billion, a increase of 20.88 billion shares compared with February.

As of the end of March, the accumulated net inward remittance of foreign investors was US$86.77 billion, an increase of US$1.35 billion over February. There are currently 148 securities firms, 23 futures commission merchants45 securities investment trust enterprises and 220 securities investment consulting enterprises.
