In order to reasonably increase the business space for trust enterprises to manage and utilize the assets of the general public, by taking into account the domestic economic and financial development as well as the impact of the discretionary investment business on securities investment trust enterprises and securities investment consulting enterprises, the FSC studied the amendment to Article 2 of the Regulations Governing the Conduct of Discretionary Investment Business by Securities Investment Trust Enterprises and Securities Investment Consulting Enterprises and raised the threshold for trust enterprises’ application for the concurrent discretionary investment business from NT$10 million to NT$15 million. The advance notice period for the draft amendments has lapsed, and the amendments will be released in the near future.
