1. Foreign Institutional Investors (FINI) and Mainland Area Investors’ (QDII) Investment in the Securities Markets
（1） Offshore FINIs: 55 applications were registered from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024.
（2） Onshore FINIs: 1 application was registered from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024.
（3） QDIIs: 0 application was registered from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024. According to the Regulations Governing Securities Investment and Futures Trading in Taiwan by Mainland Area Investors, mainland area investors (QDIIs) that engage in securities investment or futures trading in Taiwan are limited to qualified institutional investors approved by the competent authority of banking, insurance or securities for the mainland area.
（4） As of June 30, 2024, cumulative net inward-remittance from offshore FINIs was about US$277.53 billion, and QDIIs was about US$67.09 million.
2. Foreign Individual Investors’ (FIDI) Investment in the Securities Markets
（1） Offshore FIDIs: 1 application was registered from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024.
（2） Onshore FIDIs: 325 applications were registered from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024.
（3） As of June 30, 2024, cumulative net inward-remittance from offshore FIDIs totaled about US$200 million.
3. As of June 30, 2024, cumulative net inward-remittance from offshore FINIs, QDIIs and offshore FIDIs totaled about US$277.79 billion.
4. Foreign Portfolio Investment in Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) Shares
（1） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, all foreign investors bought NT$16,234.73 billion, and sold NT$16,167.45 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-buy of NT$67.28 billion.
（2） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, QDIIs bought NT$ 2.33 billion, and sold NT$1.86 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-buy of NT$0.47 billion.
5. Foreign Portfolio Investment in Taipei Exchange (TPEX) Shares
（1） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, all foreign investors bought NT$2,587.76 billion, and sold NT$2,627.06 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-sell of NT$39.30 billion.
（2） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, QDIIs bought NT$ 0.11 billion, and sold NT$ 0.26 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-sell of NT$ 0.15 billion.
