1. Outward Investment and profit in Mainland China：(Amount in NTD)
(1) By 31st March 2021, there were 1,189 listed companies (668 TWSE- and 521 TPEx- listed companies) with investment in Mainland China, which accounted for 73.03% of the total 1,628 listed companies. The number has decreased by 10 compared to the end of 2020.
(2) By 31st March 2021, the accumulated outflow of investments of Exchange-listed and TPEx-listed Companies were respectively 2.284 trillion and 246.7 billion, totaling 2.5307 trillion, an increase of 18.9 billion from the end of 2020.
(3) Profit on investments of Exchange-listed companies in Q1 2021 was 102.1 billion, and that of TPEx-listed Companies was 5.4 billion, totaling 107.5 billion, an YOY increase of 84.2 billion which is the highest compared to the same period last decade. And compared with Q1 2020, the amounts of profit on investments of Exchange-listed and TPEx-listed Companies increased 78.9 billion and 5.3 billion respectively.
(4) By 31st March 2021, the inflow accumulated amount of profit on investments of Exchange-listed companies was 496 billion, and TPEx-listed Companies was 45.4 billion, which totalled 541.4 billion and accounted for 21.39% of the accumulated outflow of Investments of 2.5307 trillion.

(1) By 31st March 2021, there were 1,278 listed companies (714 TWSE- and 564 TPEx- listed companies) with investment abroad, which accounted for 78.5% of the total 1,628 listed companies. The number has decreased by 3 compared to the end of 2020.
(2) By 31st March 2021, the accumulated outflow of investments of Exchange-listed and TPEx-listed Companies were respectively 6.26 trillion and 619.5 billion, totaling 6.8795 trillion, an increase of 68.8 billion from the end of 2020.
(3) Profit on investments of Exchange-listed companies in Q1 2021 was 259.8 billion, and that of TPEx-listed Companies was 9 billion, totaling 268.8 billion, an YOY increase of 231.1 billion which is the highest compared to the same period last decade.
