1. Foreign Institutional Investors (FINI) and Mainland Area Investors’ (QDII) Investment in the Securities Markets
（1） Offshore FINIs: 66 applications were registered from Feb. 1, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2023.
（2） Onshore FINIs: 1 application was registered from Feb. 1, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2023.
（3） QDIIs: 0 application was registered from Feb. 1, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2023. According to the Regulations Governing Securities Investment and Futures Trading in Taiwan by Mainland Area Investors, mainland area investors (QDIIs) that engage in securities investment or futures trading in Taiwan are limited to qualified institutional investors approved by the competent authority of banking, insurance or securities for the mainland area.
（4） As of Feb. 28, 2023, cumulative net inward-remittance from offshore FINIs was about US$225.84 billion, and QDIIs was about US$32.0 million.

4. Foreign Portfolio Investment in Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) Shares
（1） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2023, all foreign investors bought NT$2,174.20 billion, and sold NT$1,946.96 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-buy of NT$227.24 billion.
（2） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2023, QDIIs bought NT$0.21 billion, and sold NT$0.21 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-sell of NT$0.00 billion.
5. Foreign Portfolio Investment in Taipei Exchange (TPEX) Shares
（1） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2023, all foreign investors bought NT$409.37 billion, and sold NT$380.55 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-buy of NT$28.82 billion.
（2） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2023, QDIIs bought NT$ 0.10 billion, and sold NT$0.04 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-buy of NT$0.06 billion.
