Outward investments and profits of listed companies by 2023 Q1 
1.    Outward Investments and profits from China:(amount in NTD)
(1)    As of 2023 Q1, 1,201 listed companies (680 TWSE- and 521 TPEx-listed companies) had investments in China accounting for 71.4% of total 1,682 listed companies, a decrease of 9 companies relative to the end of 2022.
(2)    As of 2023 Q1, the accumulated outflow of investments in China of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 2,431 billion and 253 billion respectively with a total of 2,684 billion, an decrease of 19 billion from the end of 2022.
(3)    In 2023 Q1, the profits from investments in China of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 71 billion and 1 billion respectively with a total of 72 billion. The total profits ranked third highest in record despite a YOY decrease of 22 billion.
(4)    In 2023 Q1, the inflow of profits from investments in China of listed companies were 16 billion. As of 2023 Q1, the accumulated inflow of profits from investments in China of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 658 billion and 62 billion respectively. The total amount was 720 billion accounting for 26.81% of the accumulated outflow of Investments in China of 2,684 billion.
2.    Outward Investments and profits excluding China: (amount in NTD)
(1)    As of 2023 Q1, 1,290 listed companies (727 TWSE- and 563 TPEx-listed companies) had investments overseas excluding China accounting for 76.69% of total 1,682 listed companies, an increase of 1 companies relative to the end of 2022.
(2)    As of 2023 Q1, the accumulated outflow of investments of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 7,130 billion and 717 billion respectively, totaling 7,847 billion, an decrease of 38 billion from the end of 2022.
(3)    In 2023 Q1, the profits from investments of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 107 billion and 10 billion respectively with a total of 117 billion. The total profits ranked third highest in record despite a YOY decrease of 184 billion.
