1.    The FSC issues amendment to Article 23 of the Regulations Governing Securities Firms Accepting Orders to Trade Foreign Securities 
To provide securities firms with more options for custodial institutions and to address the practical needs of these firms, the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) amended Article 23 of the "Regulations Governing Securities Firms Accepting Orders to Trade Foreign Securities" on 8 May 2024. This amendment allows securities firms accepting orders for trading of foreign securities to entrust the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation with the custody of those securities. This change aims to increase the options available to securities firms and help enhance the security of investors' assets.
